Introduction

What is organisational development management? is it becoming more DIY?

Management across all businesses are changing from the traditional norm of having a hierarchal structure, as companies identify more efficient ways to increase productivity, knowledge and development of their employees, and better communication throughout the company. Chandler (1962) suggests the idea that the structure is the organisation created to carry out the adopted strategies, which could mean the structure of the organisation is dependant on the organisation activities and that every structure is unique to that organisation.
